Weather
In any situation, having a plan, staying informed, remaining calm, and preparing to act are the factors in getting through a weather-related emergency.
For all official weather-related updates, including changes in operational status (e.g., Code Red), check the West Point Garrison and Community Facebook page for the latest information.
We encourage all community members to register for emergency alerts through ALERT!. Sponsors can register with their CAC at https://alert.csd.disa.mil/, and household members can be added to the Sponsor's account.
Weather condition information:
- CODE WHITE: Permissive leave is in effect until the stated time or all day for non-mission essential personnel.
- CODE RED: Excused absences without charge to leave is granted for non-mission essential employees effective until the stated time or all day.
