Currently, SCPME is seeking eligible Captains to attend an ACS funded Masters Program starting in the summer of 2021. Eligible programs span the four fields of military expertise: military-technical, moral-ethical, political-cultural, and leader-human development. This includes, but is not limited to, degrees in the fields of History, Philosophy, International Relations and Organizational Psychology and Leadership.
All candidates desiring to compete for graduate school slots starting in the summer of 2022 must have complete packets submitted directly to the SCPME Hiring Committee or uploaded into W.E.S.T. NLT 01 December 2020.
SCPME is also seeking eligible Captains and Majors to come as direct hires in summer 2021 to fill the role of an MX400 instructor. SCPME will hold a separate board for Direct Hire positions in August 2020.
Officer Positions in SCPME:
- Most officers in SCPME have a primary duty as an MX400: Officership Instructor.
- The Education Officer and Special Assistant to the Commandant for Respect also teach MX400, with a reduced course load.
- The Special Assistant to the Commandant for Honor and the Executive Officer are full time positions typically filled by an officer selected during their 2nd or 3rd year at SCPME.
