LTC John Geracitano

John Geracitano is a researcher at the Army Cyber Institute in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy.

He began his career as an Armor officer in the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment as a tank platoon leader, cavalry troop executive officer, Squadron S1, and Squadron S6.

Geracitano transitioned to the Signal Corps, serving in command and staff positions in the 7th Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, 10th Mountain Division, 1st Armored Division, and Joint Staff J6, later transitioning to Functional Area 26B (data systems engineer).  

He has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and USARPAC’s Pacific Pathways (now Operation Pathways).
