COL Victor Jaffett, Ph.D.

COL Victor Jaffett is an associate professor and the department head for the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering (CBSE) at the United States Military Academy. He provides oversight for all chemistry, chemical engineering, and biology courses, programs, personnel, and methods of instruction. With respect to research, CBSE's focal point for coordinating collaborative research with Department of War science and technology agencies and civilian institutions. 

COL Jaffett earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from USMA in 2002 and commissioned as a signal officer. He has served in tactical signal and Stryker infantry units with operational deployments to Iraq. He received both his master’s degree and doctorate in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
